Why Combat Ready

This is continued basic training.

As Christian men, we need more than a Sunday — we need ongoing training that arms us with the spiritual fitness to keep going, in our individual walk and as a team.

Disconnecting for one night and two days — away from the noise, the job, the phone — creates the space to go deeper without distraction. That's what Combat Ready is built for.

Never been to FORGED?

Start here.

A lot of guys find FORGED through a retreat like this one before they ever set foot in a weekly site. Combat Ready is a strong, no-pressure way to see what FORGED is about — the brotherhood, the challenge, the faith — in one weekend.

If it clicks, we'll point you to a weekly FORGED site near you afterward. No obligation — just an open door.

Friday Night: Pick Your Path

At 9:30 PM, split off into whichever fits your night — competitive or contemplative, both are Combat Ready.

Option One

Big Red Games

Bring the competitive energy. Head-to-head events under the lights, bragging rights on the line.

  • Cornhole tournament
  • Light boxing class, arm wrestling, bench press challenge
  • Pedal bike races on the outdoor track
Option Two

Ignite

A fireside chat. Music by the bonfire, small group discussion focused on the immediate stuff — the thoughts, roadblocks, and habits in your life right now. Casual, honest, comradery.
